David King A true pioneer, who started down a road so long ago, to demonstrate that CT, and specifically coronary calcification, is an essential test in preventive medicine. He worked with Hounsfield, Agatston, and so many others who blazed a trail. Unfortunately, cancer took away this visionary man before his life's work could be completed. He did not see the day when the calcium scan is considered the 'mammogram of the heart', yet we will carry on his vision, and in his memory, finish the work that he started. A dear friend, and a true 'king' of preventive medicine.
